Our baby girl is one! I can hardly believe it! Seems like yesterday she just arrived.
Happy Birthday precious one! We all love you!

Kris and Trevor slaved away for two days to replace our front fence that Ozzie broke by jumping on it. Good work guys!
Happy Easter everyone! It was a perfect day today! The sun was shining bright and warm, and there were so many fun things to fill our day! We started off with baskets for the kids. We got the boys new Bibles this year, they had both outgrown the ones they had. They were so excited for all their goodies. Then it was on to church for the MOST amazing Easter service ever! The cardboard testimonials were so touching. I cried through the whole thing! The music, preaching, and everything was so great!
After church we went to the egg hunt, where the kids made out like bandits! Our church really makes sure no one goes home disappointed.
We relaxed at home for a while, took a walk around the neighborhood, then headed to the Smith’s for their Easter party. What a blessing to be invited to their place for the second year in a row. I love their families, and feel like we belong. We ate tons of delicious food, chatted, and had another huge egg hunt. I think we are now officially stocked with candy for another year!
At eleven months old, Marley is finally starting to walk. I thought she would walk much earlier, but that’s ok. She thinks it is so hilarious when she tries that she often falls over laughing!
Tonight we colored Easter eggs, one of those things I always feel like we need to do, but that seems somewhat dull. The kids had fun and did a great job though!
We had a great spring break week! It was so nice to take a break from our normal responsibilities and just play! Sophia and Penelope spent the day with us on Monday. We had a fun time at the park with Karry, Lina, and Tasha on Tuesday. And then a trip to the zoo (in the rain) with Amanda and Eliaz on Wednesday. I forgot to get the camera out earlier in the week! At the zoo I was having fun taking pics of the lions, and the battery in the camera died! I didn’t even manage to get any of the kids. They did have a great time though! Now it’s time to get back to the realities of every day.
The boys were giving Marley rides in a toy bin this morning. So cute! I looked at these pics though, and realized how messy my house looks! I feel like I live in a play room most of the time. I guess that is just one of the hazards of having a small house. But, it’s ours, and it’s home! I think that’s gotta count for something!
Crazy girl! Marley LOVES to wrestle and rough house! This afternoon while Josiah was at school, Marley and Kippy had such a great time playing together. It’s so fun to watch! It doesn’t take long before she gets tired though, and Kip is left by himself. He gets so bored and can’t wait until he gets to go to school too.
We planned a super fun Valentines Day as a family, and only at the end of the day realized we planned it all around food. Nice. Oh well, at least we had fun! We started the day at Krispy Kreme. Then took Josiah to practice for Awana olympics. While he was at the church we went to the store and bought everyone’s favorite candy. The afternoon was spent relaxing and making a cake. We ordered chinese takeout for dinner and ate around the coffee table (great idea except for the crazy baby!). Then we decorated our cake and ate it (not all of it of course)!
I can’t believe Marley is 9 months old already! She loves trying all sorts of food now. She also loves to sit at the table when we eat as a family.
